Hi, I saw there is one new option in the protocols drop-down menu in Designer - "OpenRemote Virtual Rooms". Could you please tell what is this and what is its purpose?

Thanks

I saw that myself and I have no idea.

Seriously though, I think it is something to do with mock objects. Another great undocumented feature in OR

LOL, Marc, I thought you're a core developer
Sounds interesting. I hope somebody will tell us something about it.

I am not core anything... I am core dev, core sales, core funding, core clown. Of course nothing would work without my presence. And when the time comes to take credit, don't worry, I will be first in line.

Seriously I have no idea what "virtual rooms" are, so if you see juha around make sure to corner him (last I heard of him, this morning, he was super sick in taiwan)

It's used for demos and mockups to test user interfaces and panel functionality without needing to have a working wiring for lights and devices in place.

Set your iphone to 'controller.openremote.org/iphone/controller' for a sample.

Can you please explain how to use the virtual room protocol(an example)
This feature seems to be great
(I'm new to OR) I looked for some guidance but couldn't find any
