I've tried the web element in 2.14-PREVIEW version of the designer.

It really is a great feature.

A function that I miss / can get to work, is that I would like to be able to force the Android app to do a reload of a page. I've tried with a HTTP sensor and polling intervals but without any success. Is there any way to force a reload?

If you attach a sensor to the web element in the designer, this sensor has to return the URL to display.
If the sensor returns a new URL the page is reloaded (at least on iOS). I am not sure about the Android code base.
I don't know if the sensor just returns the same URL every 5s or so seconds, how that works.

Hi and thank you Marcus.

How do I do a correct sensor, as you described. I surely make something wrong.

Without a sensor, I can not understand when or what gets the Android app to do a reload. Sometimes nothing helps, neither a restart of the app or the cotroller helps (just wait a few hours).

Might be the Android app too. I know this works with iOS.
Do you want to reload the same page perodically?

Yes. I want to reload the same url periodically.

Using a sensor might be to much anyway. We should add a property "refresh" or something.
Since it is always the same page the sensor workaround would not work anyway I guess.

Thank you Marcus.

Then I know, I'll try to be patient and wait
