here is my issue :
I'm using Android_Console_2_1_0_Beta1.apk from 2013-05-24.

I've created a panel with 3 groups, each group owned at least 1 screen.
In my 3rd group, I've inserted a webview to a personal php page.
The first time I go to the screen of group 3, php is called and provide an up to date result, but then
If I leave group 3 screen (to go to group 1 screen) and then come back to group 3, result are not refreshed
and for so I stay stuck on outdtated results (sound there is a kind of cache in android console).

In order to be able to retreive fresh result, I've to came back to controler selection screen, select my controler again and go to group 3 screen.

Is there a way to force webview to be refreshed each time you enter a screen that contain a webview?

If you can control the HTML source of the page place a refresh meta tag in the page header

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10" >

This should lead to a refresh every 10 seconds

It worked for me too, but I got the problem that OR reload the page every ten seconds even though I don't watch that particular page. If you have a number of pages to be reloaded every ten seconds, it generates a lot of traffic.

I solved it with a script that reloads the page and a button that activates the script. It has worked well for me.

I wrote like this:

function myFunction()

<input type="button" name="Reload" value="Reload" onclick="myFunction()"style="position:absolute;width:100px;left:42px;top:27px;" >

Yes I know (and have implemented those 2 solutions), but as said refresh every 10 seconds induce a load on system while not necessary.
The "refresh button" is just a workaround for me, I do want to press 2 buttons (one to navigate to the screen, then one to refresh) while only on should necessary. Domotic should simplify the live not transform if in a push button party.

Probably not a direct solution for you.
I have an Ajax enabled page that updates my power dial nicely. Doesn't generate a lot of traffic as far as I can see.
