hi,
is there any option to access the my files (images) in the designer? the problem: my design is complete but I want to change some imagea. this imagea are used for several buttons. so in the designer I have to make changes to each button (80-100). If I could change this file in the background this would be MUCH faster!
the easiest way is to delete the image and upload a newer one. but I could not delte the image as long as it used...

Yes, this is an issue at this stage, indeed a "replace image" function would be helpful.

This thread was started a while back to discuss how to improve the current media manager, you might want to chime in there with your ideas.

Thanks

Hmm good point. I can try to replace it this one time on the server if you attached the image here but yes it seems an image replace is badly needed.

thank you, but this is no solution for the future.
other question... is it possible to access the filesystem and files from rules? so that i can build a rule that overwrites the older files?

I would assume it is possible, the usual Java APIs should be available from the rules. Although I haven't tried it yet to be 100% sure.
