Hello...

I'm running a Raspberry Pi 2 with OpenRemote and OWFS. I have some 1-wire temperature devices (DS18B20 & DS18S20) connected via a DS2482-800 with i2c and polled at 1sec intervals. I have made a small panel design for my iPod Touch (iOS 6.1.6) accessed via Wi-Fi on my local network. The panel shows three temperatures... Unfortunatly, they don't stay put. They come and go to be replaced with blank spaces. They seem to disappear or appear for anywhere from 15sec to 2min. They do not disappear/appear synchronously.

Where should I look for the problem? Has anyone seen this before?

I solved it! The label fields on my panel were too small for the largest possible temperature number (xxx.xxxx). When a temperature with 4 digits after the decimal point was sent to the label field, the panel code in the iPod Touch punted and blanked out the field! The panel does not display trailing zeros, so temperatures with one trailing zero would display properly. Beware!
