Do i need al the devices connect with a lan cable?
Or is the ir a option to?, what hardware do need for that?

Are there templates for free users?

How about letting the head search and read this site first before starting to ask questions

If this OpenRemote 2.0 How To - Install Controller on Raspberry Pi is to complicated for you, you should probably look at off the shelf solutions

This the part where i go wrong;
//
5. Download OpenRemote Controller

Download and unzip the latest OpenRemote controller from http://download.openremote.org
6. Install Native Libraries for ARM

While OpenRemote is written in Java to be portable across different operating systems and CPU architectures, there are a few places where we need to reach to the native layers to access serial or USB ports, etc. These steps are only necessary if you plan on using protocols that require serial port access, such as Z-Wave.

By default, these native libraries are compiled for x86 CPU architecture. You will need to update them to ARM binaries when running on Raspberry Pi.

Serial port access from OpenRemote Controller is done with RXTX library. To download and install ARM based binary of RXTX, execute the following commands:

$ sudo apt-get install librxtx-java
$ cp /usr/lib/jni/librxtxSerial.so [path to OpenRemote Controller]/\
OpenRemote-Controller-2.0.2/webapps/controller/WEB-INF/lib/native/librxtxSerial.so

//

I use a windows pc.
When i download it,i cannot get the place good, where the loction is.
So al other commands in the tutoriol are not working, for me.

All the things that i install on my RPi, works with apt-get install, or a wget and then a unzip command.

Please...

I use a windows pc.

The original question was about Raspberry. You confuse me now.

To further help you, it would be usefull if you describe in more detail what you intend to do with openremote. Afaik this librxtx is only necessary if you want to do serial things like Z-Wave.

Sorry,

My config:
Windows8 PC
Raspberrry with wheezy

I always log in via putty in my RPi.

So i can make it to the Tutoriol.

But if I with the putty should download via tutoriol, I'm lost.
At this point.
5. Download Open Remote Controller

Download and unzip the latest open Remote controller from http://download.openremote.org

Where should I put this download?
And how do I get it open via putty?

What distro are you using for RPi?

Posted by atamariya at Jan 27, 2014 03:29

Raspbian wheezy

All the things that i install on my RPi, works with apt-get install, or a wget and then a unzip command.

No different here. Wget the download link, then unzip to extract the archive. You can save it to /opt/openremote on your Rpi.

And that is what i do not get to work...

Posted by dylantje at Feb 01, 2014 14:54

Then post the steps you've done and the error you're getting here. Saying it doesn't work makes it impossible for anyone to help you.
