I am trying to get the Aeon Z-Stick S2 to work to be used with OpenRemote.
Hardware for testing everything is a Linux Laptop running Ubuntu 12.10 with Kernel 3.5.0-26-generic. When I have everything working it will go on a QNAP NAS.
Got the USB to UART bridge CP210x.c driver for the 3.x.x kernel. When running make I get the following errors:

make -C /lib/modules/3.5.0-26-generic/build M=/home/dennis/Downloads/Driver modules
make1: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-3.5.0-26-generic'
CC M /home/dennis/Downloads/Driver/cp210x.o
/home/dennis/Downloads/Driver/cp210x.c:164:12: error: 'usb_serial_probe' undeclared here (not in a function)
/home/dennis/Downloads/Driver/cp210x.c:165:16: error: 'usb_serial_disconnect' undeclared here (not in a function)
I cut the rest, obviously something is not correct. Got the most recent headers, no change.
Any ideas??

Normally all current Linux distributions include the module for the cp210.

Based on our experience with Synology boxes I suspect the QNAP NAS might not have the compiled driver.
