I have just bought one Aeon Z-Stick and one Stella Z. I got OR installed and I see in debug that the two devices communicate, but I can't display the values read from the sensor (Stella is Thermostatic Valve + Temperature Sensor) or set the thermostat.
Did any of you already set-up a Stella ? I am also looking for an example (searched google for openremote.zip) with no success...

No one?

Stella Z has only very limited support in the native openremote Z-Wave protocol. You can not read the temperature sensor. IIRC you can set the temperature and read the battery level.

Afaik there are no examples in the form of a designer ZIP format

Is this going to change anytime soon? I have bought Stella Z in order not to buy a thermostat for the room along with Danfoss LC.

IIRC no work has been done on the native openremote z-wave implementation. On past experience I do not expect anything happening soon.
The most viable solution is to use it with Micasaverde Vera. I am presently using OpenRemote 2.0 How To - Control Radiator - Stella Z with RazBerry. At the moment I would not recommend RaZberry for new installations, as it is still very unstable, while user support is minimal.

If you want to just play first with the Aeon stick and the Stella, you may consider the free Z-Cloud service.

Unfortunatelly, the downloads of the connector + certificates does not work anymore for Z-Cloud... I wanted to get a solution cheaper and maybe more customizable than Micasa and other dedicated controlers... I hoped that with Aeon Stick + PC (Openremote, Domotiga, etc) I would have more flexibility...
And all I get is spending more money to change/buy new devices...

Sorry, I wasn't aware that the Z-Cloud is not available any more for new users.
