Can someone be of assistance? I am installing OpenRemote on a Windows 7 laptop. I have tried the solutions from other related forum questions no avail. I can't get past the "The CATALINA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly This environment variable is needed to run this program"

I am running Java 8

Set "JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_60" "C:\openremote\bin\openremote run"

NO GO

Tried "JRE_HOME = C:|Program Files\ Java\jre.1.8.0_60" "C:\openremote\bin\openremote run"
tried .bat as well

NO GO
I even tried adding "CATALINA_ HOME =C:\openremote\lib" to no avail.

Can anyone help? I am excited about home automation, but getting a little frustrated after trying to install OpenRemote for three days.

Thanks,
AEG

Try this:

you have a version developer (jdk), wright?

1- Restart:

2 - Comand prompt:

Set JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_60

set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%

3 - then
openremote run
