Hello,

How Can I switch Telnet negotiation mode to Passive in building modeler command window?
Why i need passive? If I create new commands in designer and use them, my gateway not respoding.
I checked telnet commands (by putty), send telnet commands to my special gateway home automation system network and I must switch putty to passive mode - in this mode everything works ok.

My log:
at java.lan.Thread.run<Thread.java:619>
ERROR [Telnet Polling thread for sensor: light]: could not perform telnet Event
java.lang.Exception: waitForString response timed-out waiting for "command to my gateway"
at org.openremote.controller.protocol.telnet.TelnetCommand.waitForString<TelnetCommand.java:207>
at org.openremote.controller.protocol.telnet.TelnetCommand.waitForString<TelnetCommand.java:153>
at org.openremote.controller.protocol.telnet.TelnetCommand.waitForString<TelnetCommand.java:295>

As I wrote when I send "command to my gateway" manually from putty with passive option mode everything is ok.

Regards !

I tried to use "PASV" switch but i still have no idea where should i place it (edit controller.xml file?).

OpenRemote is using standard apache commons net telnet library. I don't see any support for telnet negotiation mode in the library. Maybe if a TelnetOptionHandler is registered, but OpenRemote does not support that.

I changed "telnet" to "tcp/ip" in modeler and now working...
