Just wondering whether it is possible or there are plans to have further integration with XBMC (or other devices) similar to CommandFusion: https://github.com/CommandFusion/XBMC

What does "further" mean? We already support XBMC control with HTTP and JSON.

Sorry I should have explained better and asked whether in fact it is already possible.

Further means two-way communication which allows user to browse list of movies, music etc with artwork and description - See link in my initial post for example.

I don't know XBMC JSON communication in detail, but our console is currently limited in terms of available UI components.
We don't support lists, only textfields and web URL's can be displayed.
I would say that a UIsimilar to your link is currently not possible.

XBMC's JSON server is fully capable of this. It is very powerful.

Lack of a 'list' ui component in openremote definitely appears to be a barrier to achieving this. However I guess a 'now playing' page would be possible.

Thanks for the info.
