I am trying to install OR on a R-Pi. I installed OR, mochad and everything was working. I tried the setup connected to a LAN and the controller page came up correctly. It also detects the X10 CM15A controller and I can use nc to control different devices.

I disconnected the R-Pi from the LAN and but the WiFi is connected. I can ssh to the R-Pi on the WiFi IP address with no problem so I know that my Wifi is connected correctly but I can't open the controller page any more.

What did I do wrong.

Also, for X10 devices do I need to use the the TCP/IP or the X10 protocol? Is there a template that can be used as a starting point for all my X10 devices.

Thank you for all your help

Johnny

If you're using mochad and CM15 then you need/should use the TCP commands.

For the homepage issue is hard to say, something with the network/wifi setup with the RPi but I've no clues what to look for.

Can I use OR with CM15 without mochad?

Is there any template designs for X10 that I can use as a starting point?

Where are the logs for OR so that I can try and debug why it is not working on WiFi.

Thanks

No, not at the moment.

There are UI design templates available in the for-pay pro version. But there are no templates for X10 configuration – in fact we had to remove configuration templates long time ago and haven't had a chance to bring them back since, so only UI design templates exist in any case.

This is not going to be related to OR, we don't implement anything at network layer. This is likely an issue with your operating system configuration in R-Pi.
