Hello Everybody.

I have a problem with sensors and switches...

i read, try out, try, try, try many thinks, but i dont get it to work.

Situation:

I toggle the GPIO┬┤s from the RaspberryPI

a Friend write me a programm for me.

With this programm i have the following possibilitis

http://192.168.178.28:8080/gpio/17/enable ------> with this command in the webbroser i can switch gpio17 to 0 http://192.168.178.28:8080/gpio/17/disable ------> with this command in the webbroser i can switch gpio17 to 1 http://192.168.178.28:8080/gpio/17/toggle------> with this command in the webbroser i can switch gpio17 from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0.

He wrote the programm for every gpio on the raspberrypi.

Now we came to Openremote

I create for every gpio a command for "pin on" and "pin of" and "pin toggle"

than came the first problem, to create a sensor!!!!!!

I have for the Sensor no sensor input. i cant get the status from a pin because i have no url to read out the status.

The next problem is the switch themself. If i create a Sensor with the "Pin17 on" and wrote in the switch for on "pin17 on" and for off "pin17 off",
I can just switch on the pin on my raspberryPi and my image for the switch dont move to "on".

I Hope you can understand my bad english, and can help me to realise my projekt

Greetings from germany

Dominik

Hi Dominik,

if you don't have an HTTP command for sensor then you need to create in-memory virtual command variable and use it. In-memory virtual comands and their usage with switches was covered on this forum many times.
