Hi guys
I'm using a HTTP sensor and regex to return the value on or off - that is all that exists in the html file.

My regex is a basic \w+ but it seems like the HTTP GET command is returning the value "on" from the html file as "ÿþo n"

in the http log, i see the following:

INFO 2015-06-03 12:43:34,460 (HTTP): received message: ÿþo n
INFO 2015-06-03 12:43:34,460 (HTTP): result of regex evaluation: o

What is ÿþ?

The html file is getting populated with the following script action
echo "on" > C:\shProject\ORC\webapps\controller\status.html

Any ideas? All my reg expressions are failing because of this
