Hello,

I am new in Openremote and I have a question about Slider.

I would like to get information from my Eco-devices and send them to Open.Sen.Se to have a graph.
I created a sensor to get the Json data every 60s and a Slider to send it to Open.Sen.Se. On the panel I can see my data but the value is sent to Open.Sen.Se only when I move the Slider and not the good value from my Sensor.

Is using Slider the good way and how can I send the Sensor value?

Thank you

Slider is a UI element, it will display the sensor value back on your UI and will only trigger a command based on user interaction.

Using a rule on the sensor value would be the easiest way to go for this.

Hello,

I have an other question about Rules and HTTP Post.

I created this Rule to read my Sensor and print the value

Package org.openremote.controller.protocol
global org.openremote.controller.statuscache.CommandFacade execute;
import org.openremote.controller.protocol.Event;

rule "Graph"
when
$evt : Event ( source == "T1_Sensor_Range" )
then
System.out.println ($evt.getValue());
end

When I used Slider, I sent a HTTP Post with a $

Unknown macro: {param}
.

What will the command in the Rules and the variable in Workload to send my $evt value?

Thank you for your help.
