I'm trying to get OpenRemote up and running on a linux system. Followed the install instructions but when I go to http://localhost:8080/controller it will not accept my account name and password. I had followed the "create account" and validated via email, but it seems like it is a demo account or something as the url comes up as https://composer.openremote.org/demo/login.jsp instead of http://localhost:8080/controller.

Help Please.

Hi

That's fairly easy to identify.

The demo / free version of OpenRemote controller uses port 8080 - so needs a demo / free designer account, which can be found at composer.OpenRemote.org

Whereas the Pro version of the OpenRemote controller (by default) uses port 8688 - so needs a Pro designer account, which is accessed via designer.OpenRemote.com

So, if you have a Pro account, please log into the Pro designer and download the Pro Controller using a button on the top right hand side marked "Download Resources"

Good luck

Still struggling getting this sw going. I have both a Aeon Zwave Stick S2 and now I tried a Zwave Stick Gen 5, neither of which are being seen with openremote. Both work with Homegenie (homegenie is stopped and uninstalled when I try OR). I created a panel and added three commands (inclusion on, off, status) as well as a sensor with an "inclusion status" command and type "switch".

Still not seeing the zwave stick and no zwave xml files are being created. When I hit a button on the panel I get "No Such Command".

When I do a sync with online designer I see these errors among other messages:

ERROR 2016-04-02 22:14:19,841 : Creating sensor failed. Error : The node '1' is not known by the Z-Wave controller
XML Element : <sensor xmlns="http://www.openremote.org" id="107970586" name="Incl Status" type="switch">
<include type="command" ref="26" />
<state name="on" />
<state name="off" />
</sensor>
org.openremote.controller.exception.NoSuchCommandException: The node '1' is not known by the Z-Wave controller

ERROR Controller Definition File Watcher for Default Deployer: Creating sensor failed. Error : The node '1' is not known by the Z-Wave controller

<state name="on" />

</sensor>
org.openremote.controller.exception.NoSuchCommandException: The node '1' is not known by the Z-Wave controller

last entry of zwave debug log shows:
DEBUG 2016-04-02 22:14:19,839 (Z-Wave): Command_Builder : Building Z-Wave command
DEBUG 2016-04-02 22:14:19,840 (Z-Wave): Command_Builder : Z-Wave command: nodeId = '1', endPoint = '1'
DEBUG 2016-04-02 22:14:19,840 (Z-Wave): Command_Builder : Z-Wave command: command = INCLUSION_MODE_STATUS

and zwave log shows:
INFO 2016-04-02 22:04:00,677 (Z-Wave): Serial_Port : Opening the serial port [COM port: /dev/ttyACM0, Communication Layer: RXTX]...

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong???

Thanks,
-Greg
