After installing open remote package on a synology NAS (PC LOAD LETTER package), I can access the Controller and sync with the designer. I can also start the Open Remote Web Console. Unfortunately, when trying to connect to the controller, I get the following message:

Controller Error!
Controller <URL> can't be reached.
Make sure controller is running and if it is secured, check that your browser supports HTML5 CORS.

I checked the catalina logs and noticed the following exception:

SEVERE OpenRemote.Controller.runtime.sensors: Implementation error in protocol handler <null> : null
at org.openremote.controller.protocol.knx.ApplicationProtocolDataUnit.getProtocolDataUnit(
at org.openremote.controller.protocol.knx.KNXCommand.getCEMIFrame(
at org.openremote.controller.protocol.knx.KNXCommand.toString(
at java.lang.String.valueOf(
at java.lang.StringBuilder.append(
at org.openremote.controller.model.sensor.Sensor$
at org.openremote.controller.model.sensor.Sensor$

Looking at the KNX logs, it seems that OpenRemote is connecting fine to my KNX IP gateway...

Can you please help?

Which version of synology are you using?
If you're running the latest 4.2 firmware, I would recommend to install the synology packages for java and tomcat instead of the custom pc loader package. I'm not sure this custom package is still uptodate.
you'll benefit from a full control of your install and be able to deploy the latest OR controller.

FYI: The PC LOAD LETTER Synology package has been updated to the latest 4.2 firmware

Did you check the Synology Howto pages on this site?

That was my mistake. I forgot to change the port # in the Designer to the one used on the Synology (18581).

It works now. Thanks for your help!
