Hello,

Though I have tried multiple solutions I can't get the controller working. I hope someone can give my advice on some other solutions to try out.

configuration

I have the following configuration:

  • Aeon Labs Aeotec Z-Stick
  • Windows 7 Professional 64 bits
  • OpenRemote Controller Pro version 1.0.12
  • Java version: jdk-8u5-windows-x64.exe

In the Designer on the "Config for Controller" z-wave tab my settings are:

  • zwave.pad.host: localhost
  • protocol.zwave.classname: org.openremote.controller.protocol.zwave.ZWaveCommandBuilder
  • zwave.comPort: COM1
  • zwave.pad.port: 7876
  • zwave.commLayer: RXTX

problem messages

The controller web page gives the message:

  • This controller is linked to account ID: 95

When I try to add the controller in the Designer based on my LAN MAC address I get the message:

  • No controller with the given MAC address was found or maybe it's linked already.
Please start your controller before linking it, make sure it is not linked yet and that it has internet access.

Z-stick seems to work

In the zwave.log I can see communication with the Z-stick:

DEBUG 2014-05-09 01:08:42,509 (Z-Wave): Node id: 1 discovered

Also I was able to control the Z-stick and other nodes with HomeSeer so the Z-stick and its Window driver are working correct.

What I have tried already

Best regards,
Dirk-Jan Hoekstra

Could you please give it another try, we have deployed a fix for the IPv6 issue on the server

Hello Eric,

Now it works for the controller on one of my PC's. This is the PC on which I didn't used the Microsoft Fix-its to switch off and on again the IPv6 settings. Fortunate this is the PC I want the controller running on. So the only change on my side to make this possible was to use the Cloudhopper binaries.

Best regards,
Dirk-Jan
