We are going to build a house (semidetached in Madrid, Spain) in a few months and we are willing to integrate lighting, ventilation, water control, clima, security, webcams, private NAS in one system that has to be clever in off to turn on lights when it's dark and people are in, to turn off heater if there is nobody or the interior temperature is Xº... we want to control all this stuff from an friendly-user interface (like openremote) but it has to be possible to create complicated instructions so the systems runs 95% of the time by itself without any user action and depending on multiple crossed data.

At the end, we are looking to develop something very easy in the user layer, but able to perform complicated instructions depending on multiple variables.

Is openremote the right decision? We are looking for developers to help us with the design and further implementation.

Thanks. Fernando

Hello Fernando.

OR is a good choice for open integration but you have to make sure the hardware you are going to choose is supported or have someone do it for you.

That's why I am creating a design team integrating HW and SW issues at the same time. If you want I can grant you access to a private intranet where we are working on designing the project, but I need your email.
