Hi, I discover the use of the $

Unknown macro: {param}
parameter in a command from some other post. I have been able to set the command value from an execute.command call in a rule.

However this seems to only work with the command value. Can set the IP address of the tcp/ip command dynamically from a rule?

I'm I missing something on this or how it is? Is there a way to use $param for the ip address?

Thanks

Not possible at this stage

The ${param} won't work, but you can use symbolic name in your command for IP and write /etc/hosts from the rule. This way you will have dynamic addressing.
