My openremote installation is working but the z wave with the z stick 2 not yet.
At the start up the following message is shown

The stick is detected and appears in ttyUSB0
the zstick is working, i tested it with ztools in another machine
Any help will be good
I dont know anything about Linux but to me it seems like 32-bit vs 64-bit issue. Same thing applies to running OpenRemote on Windows, where seems to be no support running under 64-bit architecture since serial drivers in openremote is 32-bit. The solution for my Windows installation was to run it under 32-bit OS and Java or download a 64-bit serial driver and replace the one in Openremote. I downloaded it from http://fizzed.com/oss/rxtx-for-java and there seems to be some Linux drivers there as well.
As I mensioned, dont know anything about Linux but maybe that can help you in the right direction.

Thanks for the link. I tried the linux version from that site and still the problem with the serial driver.
I'll saw others post that mention the incompatibility between their 64 bit OS and the openremote 32 bit version serial files.
I'll will look for a hack around and post the results. Will be easier if a member of the forum had had the experience and post a solution.
Thans again Nils.

After a couple of days trying with the zstick 2 i give up-
When i replaced the librxtxserial.so the ELF class error gone but a new one appears (can't open serial port)
There is not a single librxtxserial.so 64 bit available that work with my installation.
I'm considering let the zwave network to vera lite because of this.
after this experience i will stay in the windows side until someone with the skills have the time to deal with
this serial device and zwave protocol... in the 64 bits ubuntu world.
Thanks again Nils
